In his will John was described as a Yeoman. Although it was almost certainly made in 1755 it required an Indenture in 1864 which named his descendants down to great great grandchildren. He left the property described as "two messuages or tenements with lands and appertenances thereto belonging.......lying in the parish of Chartham" in trust for his wife with succession to his two children and their descendants |
