Note on Husband: Hubert Laud Strachan WOOD

Notes from Robert Darlington indicate he could have gone to India as a Tea Planter in South Coorg India between 1871 and 1890 as he cannot be found in the 1881 census.Alberts family had connections with the Jackson family of North Reston which probably made this possible. Robert's notes also indicated that he divorced and remarried but no records can be found of this nor of his death. Further research indicates that he either died or disappeared back overseas between 1897 and 1899 because his divorce took place in Dec 1897. Frances then married Robert Price in Hampstead in Jul-Sep 1899.
